Gear wise I use a Spyder holster as well, and generally carry 2 x Leica sl2's with primes attached. So a reasonable finish in the night, combined with good fitness seems to be working for me. In general I encourage my couples to only keep me for 30-45 mins after the first dance, which here in Australia means my typical finish time is 9/930pm. Didn't have a wedding the day after thankfully. Really the only time I get tired now after a wedding is if it's a very late trip home - I had one the other day where I got home at 1:45am and was pretty woozy the next day. weights days on the days I don't have a wedding. I'm generally pretty fit already from the cardio side with running, but I found with lifting weights it pretty much removed any next day fatigue completely. But I'd suggest for you to start doing some weights where possible - I'm not talking lifting massively, but start small/medium. I normally run 10k before a wedding early in the morning to get my body moving. I'm a guy, but turn 44 in march and also do a lot of weddings (prob around 1300 odd roughly). I am scheduled for physical therapy in January, but I am wondering if this is my body telling me to scale back. Now I am having really bad hip pain that won’t resolve. Also upper body pain used to be an issue for me. I use a spider holster as the HoldFast type vest/strap thingy pinches my shirt and/or arm fat. I do have two children (affects the body which is why I mention it). I am a female of healthy weight, and I am a runner. I am also wondering if a particular type of strap/holster has caused you problems or helped you.Īs stated about, I turned 40 this year.
